We have a geriatric/disabled dog that weighs about 80lbs. W/ her old mat, she kept getting heat rash all over her stomach and inner thighs. She also is incontinent. The washable liner is a life saver BUT it is incredibly slick. She no longer has heat bumps and doesn't pant all the time so I say MONEY WELL SPENT :)
