Escolite UV Flashlight 51 LED 395nm for Pet Urine, Bed Bugs & Scorpions - Home & Outdoor Use

I wanted to write this review to let you know that this really does work! I never write reviews on products, so this should tell you something! After my 6 year old getting stung 2 times by a scorpion in our house, i had to do something. I opened it and put 3 AA batteries in it and in less than 5 minutes of searching for scorpions -I FOUND ONE IN MY HOUSE!!! Ewww so gross.they play dead, and they are alive! So be aware! But you will not be disappointed! Good luck searching for bugs, you will find them with this flashlight!I've tried many different UV lights who cure my UV reson projects, and this one stands head and shoulders above the rest!! I have complete control over the angle the light hits each item. I don't have to worry about missing a spot, or that uncured resin is leaking through a pin-sized hole in the outer shell of an otherwise perfect piece that I just presented as a gift.This light turned out to be a lot of fun for me. I am able to do a lot more than I thought. And for the price, it’s a steal. Until you figure out how to use it, it might be frustrating, but then… it’s funny the things that you can find.This light has come in handy when spotting hard to see puppy accidents and house training. When you shine the light on a liquid, you can tell if it is water or urine. You can use it in daylight but it is better when the area is darker.I was trying to hunt for yooperlites. Someone found one, but this light would not fluoresce it. It fluoresced a deep orange from the other persons light. However, it did fluoresce the yooperlite I had at home, which was more yellow.I was truly amazed at how powerful the light is. I use it while I'm doing florescent tattoos and it really helpsI was skeptical, bit it seemed well built when it arrived. I put batteries in, and it actually worked as advertised.Works great but I wish you could see things brighter in the light. I really have to squint to see anythingQuick delivery. Works really well in showing up animal urine accidents when used in darkness. Very pleased with it.I've used this for finding scorpions in the dark and found it very effective. They glow bright green and can be seen from a good 5m or so away.I’m a little disappointed with buying this and how it’s come when putting the batteries together. Don’t think I can get this to work now which is annoying cause I was looking forward to using it :(.What ever your reason for buying this, just remember- you can’t unsee.I got this to look for cat pee, it works great for that, however there are others things I needed to clean. *shiver*My son is at the point where he doesn’t even want to know, and my mom asks me to bring it over to check the “goo factor”.How clean is your house? You’ll soon find out.As a side note, shining it in ones mouths show real and crowned teeth.Have you ever wanted to look around your house like they do on CSI then this light is for you. If you're a germaphobe you might not want to purchase this light as it will show you all the nastiness that you can't even imagine. If you want to get your kids to clean their bathrooms this is a perfect tool for that. I personally would never take this to a hotel room if you ever plan on traveling again in your entire life. Works well, battery last long, and it's fun to gross out your wife and kids.
