We adopted a one and a half year old St Bernard and were looking for a bed that would accommodate his size and weight. This bed is just what we needed! It gives our growing giant ample room to lounge, sprawl and curl up and snuggle! The thickness of the foam supports his weight without squishing down. It doesn’t leave any evidence that he was lying it after he gets off of this bed. The waterproof cover is an added bonus because St Bernards drool-a lot! The outer cover is easy to remove and launder and stands up to vacuuming daily. We are very happy with this purchase and our giant dog is comfy and cozy. It does require ample space so be sure you have room to walk around it or you’ll be tripping over it!
