Purchased this for my son who is leaving for college this fall. The gray color is nice and the cover is very soft. I used an 18x18 insert. I wish that the letters on the pillow did not go all the way to the edge. As you can see it cuts off half the words at the top and bottom and does not appear as it does in the listing where the words are much smaller. Other than that it’s great!This is definitely velvety soft. However, the image does not exactly fit on the pillow’s case as shown. My pillow has the words going RIGHT to the edge. There are several blemishes that can’t be smoothed out, perhaps due to the velvet fabric. It’s not perfect, but meant as an accent in my son’s dorm room. If it were a piece for my family room, I might return.It’s nice I didn’t read the description fully,I thought it was a pillow not a pillowcase.didn’t care much for that packaging as it kinda ruined the picture from being so tight in package.Pillow case is soft and good quality.. fits the 18x18 pillow perfectly.
